a TV show about Very typical young people in LARGE cities at that time. NYC,LA etc. Stupid , inane , careless, "free thinking" idiots. That's also what the demographics were and are for the targeted audiences of this show that made the actors very very rich.

Similar to "Seinfeld", a show about nothing but incompetent people doing inane things.

Friends are over-rated..........most, tend to not be real.

These people gave an accurate depiction of the failure of the education system ... then and now.

Message: It's alright to be a moron with no sense of the greatest generation that made their pathetic lifestyle possible.

Maybe I should rethink "greatest" 😆

That show is on 5 hours a day here, every day. I have turned it on, three times in the past month, and I never lasted over a minute. Inane is a good description. What a stupid show. Hard to believe all the money to be made on such bad screenwriting and acting.

Haven’t seen much of it in the last 10-15 years. But, I enjoyed it when I did watch it.

I had a teen-age niece living here when "Friends" was big. She wanted to watch it and I wouldn't allow it. I said, "All they talk about on that show is who is having sex with whom."

    She disagreed.

I turned the TV to the station playing "Friends," and there they were, having a conversation about who is having sex with whom.

Niece is a mom with 5 kids now. I asked her whether she monitors or censors their TV watching. She blushed and said that she would never let her kids watch "Friends," or any show like that.

Sounds like an entire thread,,,,,,,,,,, about nothing?

Sorry, had to break the momentum on account I've got a soft spot for Jennifer Aniston. 😏

No one here cares about the show, yet here you are talking about it over a decade after it ended...

Never watched one episode of either one. All just BS drama in my opinion.

As for Star Trek, that is sacred ground, hands off🙃

I never watched it much. Now The Andy Griffin Show, that was about real people.

You can add The big bang theory into that list. My wife watched that one about 5 minutes is about all that I could take before I would go watch the History Channel reruns.

Well they didn’t do anything illegal and they made money.

Not a fan of that show, but I don’t see the problem.

Letting the market set the price is called capitalism. I believe in free markets and capitalism.
