sad and I thought I see a news post about protesters blocking the veteran's way

Leftist Protesters Block WWII Veterans from Attending Pearl Harbor Ceremony: Report
'WWII veterans aren't able to get to their own monument in DC to honor the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.'

they all (protesters ) need a butt kicking they would never forget or get over

I have a lot words I can not post on here about how I feel about them and the disrespect to America and the veteran's

Dec 7th was also my younger brothers and my BIL birth day i always thought it was a odd coincidence

both have passed on . and I miss them both . my BIL was a Ranger in Vietnam in the late 60's early 70's I did not know until he died I just knew he was in the army but he never talked about it may they both RIP

My children know but I doubt that many of their friends know . Son shares some passing interest in ww2 history . They only know about because of history hobby and my frequently talking about it

Protesters blocking veterans to get t monument, that would have been a disaster to the protesters. Gosh if that is true I can't imagine the, well yea I can. Nevermind, I will be on another watchlist if I say anything.

I always send out an email regarding December 7th and usually only get one response, from a friend who's dad survived the Omaha beach landing on D-Day.

This year on the 80th anniversay....nothing, not even from him.

    Those that forget history............

Our daghter and her husband and son took a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Hawaii several years ago. Most would go to the usual tourist destinations - beaches, luaus, etc. They made it a point to visit the Arizona. The grandson in this picture is a clever little fellow. He'll remember this. Some day he will understand.

I heard a few years ago that the French take their school children to the Allied soldiers cemeteries in Normandy every year and teach them about the war.

The flags were also at half staff before, during, and after December 7th because of the death of Bob Dole.

Do you believe the masses would be more familiar with Bob Dole ... at least there were movies about Pearl Harbor!

    😆😆😆

Very little history is taught in school at any level anymore.

I work processing testers for enlistment in the military. I have to have them write their name and date on scratch paper they use for the test.

All of the testers always ask me the date because they don’t pay attention to the date.

On December 7th I said a date “that will live in infamy”.

NO one got the reference to the date.
