surprised, a honest auctionier
I was bidding on a local auction last nite and one item was a WW2 german dagger, Simpsons had one listed @$750. I had bid $150 and was high bidder just before the auction was to close, it had typical auction pix (just enough to get you interested). I get a phone call from the auctionier telling me this has a "made in china" stamp (not shown) and he offered to cancel the item.

had one offered by a customer that said his gramps brought it back from the war i had to show him the made in china
