I have not nor will I EVER wear 'crocs'. I'd wear a pink skirt and wig before putting foot in croc.

my wife started wearing them many years ago she likes how comfortable they are I was given a pair of crocks "house shoes " lined with fake sheep wool I wear them a lot around the house mostly for the same reason one of doctors were them see below
my cardiologist has worn them for many years says he loves them easy on and off and comfortable best shoes he has had for the office

I had to look up just what Crocs were! Always assumed that they were those plastic shoes with holes in them for working in the garden! ๐ฒ
OHHH! Yup! My assumption was correct!

They're footwear, for Pete's sake. I don't know why some of you attach a silly stigma to them.

I've never worn crocs, but I did buy a pair of sketchers a few years ago, I now have 4 different pairs. Most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

I also have pretty much switched to Skechers shoes for all but dress wear. Incredibly comfortable, especially their golf shoes. But I also have a pair of Crocs I wear around the house and as summer boat shoes. Both are like walking on clouds.

I wear crocs quite often, especially during the summer time on the boat fishing.

Just because of this thread, I'll wear mine around the house today. Don't plan to go out, so why not?

Workman comp and other liability insurance companies have issues with crocs with some listing injuries involving them as not covered. There's a reason for this.
Handy for some things but they are not stable safe foot wear, especially those without a back heel strap.
that said I used a pair when shore fishing in Florida.

If they are even slightly worn on the bottom, they can be pretty dang slippery, for sure. Boat ramps are especially dangerous with them on. But...if you clean them thoroughly and let them dry, you can add "gripper treads" on them with beads of hot glue. Works surprisingly well.

Larry the cable guy wears them.

I'll wear a pink tu-tu before I'll slip on a pair of Crocs.
What a croc๐

I wear Crocs with Socks around the house. They are a more comfortable shower shoe.
Except for maybe on a boat, you'll never see me wearing them in public.

Crocs are considered to be over dressing at Dollar Tree or Walmart. They meet the "No Shoes No Service" rule, but just barely.

I have several pair. 2 pair of leather Crocs, one pair of sherpa lined plastic ones and one pair of unlined ones. All have the heelstrap. I can't wear them without socks as they rub blisters on my heels. They are pretty versatile shoes and slip on without bending over to tie laces. My biggest complaint is the tread wears out really fast.

See my hot glue tip above. It isn't a forever fix, but...

I told my wife about that I have seen it on youtube many times . she ask how long will it last . I said does it matter a week a month ? its hot glue and can be put right back on as often as you like
I have a pair I will try it on and she has several pair and a pair she only uses out side to take care of the chickens and said they are worn slick so I will redneck alter them for her also ๐

I don't have Crocs so I tried your hot glue trick on my bare feet. It worked great, I didn't slip once as I ran to the bathtub to soak my feet.๐คพโโ๏ธ๐๐โโ๏ธ
