I'm no firearms historian by any means but I'm sure that the seller is probably pissing a kitten out his urethra with those numbers. The seller fee for this gun is: $554.88.

I had an old friend who said a SAA sold for $20.00 gold piece in its day and could still be bought for the value of a $20.00 gold coin. I think this auction disproves his theory.

That's actually right on if we are talking new MSRP. Colt Single Action Army 7.5" (45LC) $1799.00. The current price of gold as of December 02, 2021 is $1,762.70 per ounce.
