Beauty Only Lasts So Long
I was watching an old movie from the 40's and an old lady actress playing the part of a rich upper crust snob did such a good job I just had to look her up online. I ran across an early picture of her and just could not believe my eyes! 😲
Only goes to show you how the rose fades and withers all too soon in this life.

Sadly we all suffer as we age but looking in a mirror every day it slowly creeps up on us
But like your post looking at old photos of nice looking gals or even the leading men of the past and skipping ahead 40 or so years it's way to obvious and sad

I hate to burst you bubble about this. I had cataract surgery about three years back and I remember the next morning looking in the mirror and was thinking were did all those wrinkles and dark spots come from ?? !!!

wife and I been marred 43 years this June have grown old together . have to look past the wear and tear of time we have accumulated in March we hit another year I will be 65 she will be 63 just have to remember all the efforts that got us this far in life . ( I know my looks sure did not do it 😁 )
we get a laugh about it for the last several years she is a old man magnet now. when we go out shopping the old guys are always hitting on her asking to help her and following her around the stores . better her than me last thing I want is a bunch of old guys following me LOL
