That's a boatload of KE -- I wonder if any satellites will be able to directly observe the impact. Gonna be a heck of a flash!
Be interesting if Hubble could observe the impact or at least the crater. Lots to be learned. I wonder if any seismographs are active on the moon that could yield lots of interesting data.

Hubble cannot see the far side of the moon. Maybe the Webb when it becomes operational.
