Spent quite a bit of time in Millegeville at the Grumman plant years ago. My favorite memory was dinner at a ramshackle bar-b-que place on the outskirts of town. No memory of name or location, just good food.

Don, was that Hooks Barbecue? Ten miles east of town on the Sandersville Highway. He cooked 4 pigs all night on Thursday, and then served barbecue on Friday and Saturday. A couple of run down shacks and great barbecue.

Nice place. Did you build that when you were working as a paramedic?

Yes and I was an energetic man. 60 hours a week working as a paramedic, and 30 to 40 hours a week of construction.
