What was your 1st gun purchase of 2022? Here's mine
Glock 43X + 3 Shield Arms mags, Shield Arms mag release, and Night Sights. It could very well replace 3 of my carry guns - Glock 19, Glock 26, and my Ruger LC9s Pro.
How about you, buying any guns in 2022?

My wife carries the 43x with a LaserMax Grip Sense light/green laser. Nice little gun!

As of now, I am not planning on anything. In fact, I am debating on calling Kasey and meeting up with her again after tax season if she is willing. Or I am sure my bride would be willing to meet her earlier.

Nothing yet. I only purchased one gun in 2021. I also purchased one box of 32 Special ammo in 2021. That is the only ammo I purchased in 2021, that I can recall.

Looking to add a good double barrel shotgun to the stable ,prefer a 16 or 20 gauge . Maybe even both .

No gun, but I did buy a Canon.
I had to borrow an image.
Canon 1V HS with two consumer grade lenses at a price I couldn't pass up.

One of the Shield Arms mags. But...
Might not be the gun's fault, my front sight also came loose.

I'd hang onto at least one of those other carry pieces.

A used Ruger EC9s at a gun show for a REAL nice price last weekend. It's been carried, but looks like new inside. Going to be my new truck gun to replace a much more expensive pistol.

Does anybody still sell / process 35mm film? My brother has a 1DX, that thing is a brick. especially with the long EF glass. Good pix though. I love my 5d MKIV and the 7D is good. It suffers from the soft focus issue known to plague that body, but if back at cannon being retrained.

I got a new to me 1895 Chilean Mauser all numbers matching except the bayonet. It is a Loewe and is the Carbine length. Will try to get some pics this week. Buddy of mine got a similar rifle from the same batch. He had some ammo so we got to shoot his. His is a good shooter, waiting to get some brass and dies to try mine!

Oh Yeah. Plenty of film available, if you're willing to pay the price. Having been a film slu,,, err,,, snob since the 70's-80's I've got an 11 cft chest freezer at least half full of film.
Just made a quick check and Dale Labs is still in business. I used them for color (C41- E6) because the darkroom I had access to on the Sinai was only set up for B&W. I haven't sent b&w to a lab since I was in high school.
Almost forgot: I don't know the process or what hardware is needed, but I believe you can re-calibrate the lenses to your camera body with that model.

Trust me I have tried every fix posted on the interwebs, it really is only a problem on fast exposures at high magnification. When I got it the kids were still playing soccer and that meant a lot of telephoto shots at as fast as I could get away with given the light conditions. I have some much better glass now, but the kids are grown.
