I like the fish planks that Long John Silver's have. Problem is, the closest one is in Phoenix, a good 85 miles away.
I rarely ride to Phoenix for much anymore. LJS fish planks or not.
ya I got hooked on them ( LJS ) many years ago still one place about 20 miles from us if we go that direction we will stop by
I did see back in the day they switched out what fish they used early on and lost a lot of customers

I tried ordering fish one time @ Kentucky Fried Chicken. It tasted just like chicken.

Gag as long as it's not salmon. Good Lord God in Heaven if I never have to eat salmon again it will be too soon.
Salmon with eggs, salmon in quiche, salmon with mashed potatoes, salmon with bread and miracle whip, salmon baked, Squaw Candy, salmon jerky, salmon fried, salmon braised, salmon boiled, salmon on the barbie, salmon steaks, salmon meatballs and noodles, pickled salmon, salmon crumbles on salad.... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!
We went to LA for a business trip and the hosts there took us to a swanky restaurant where all the stars eat. We sat down, looked the menu, and the whole thing was salmon, salmon, salmon, salmon and more salmon. My face turned white then at the very bottom in small print.... "cheeseburger". YESSSSSSSSS!!!!! I'll take that!!

Y'know if the bloody fish weren't so fun to catch, this would be a smaller problem.
Now then, someone ask how I like halibut! Fun to catch, delicious on the plate. But don't keep the big'uns. Those 300 pounders are ancient, and FULL of worms.
Rock Cod? Black Cod? There's my favorite.

Don't know how to post video. Saw the program some time back on tv.
They were netting fish, looked like suckers, in the pacific ocean .
The ship was also a processing plant on water. Nothing was wasted, fish oil was used as fuel for the engines and fish was ground and then smashed into what looked like blocks 12 x 24 x 6 inches thick then quick frozen.
Announcer said Mc'Ds were their biggest customer.

The best fish I have ever eaten were from shore lunches where we caught the fish, built a fire, breaded and fried them in oil within hours of catching them and keeping them alive in live wells until it was time to prepare them...I have had the opportunity to do this with walleye, rainbow trout and crappies..
A close 2nd is a foil dinner using fish fillets, taters, onion, a big piece of butter. Slow cooked in a fire, turned often...
Dang, NOW I am hungry for fish...it had better warm up soon !!
