Well it wont be long before the cops scan your eye for instant confirmations without need of a DNA profile for I.D. Your eye can reveal a lot of other things about you internally also.

Big brother is soon to breakout and reveal just how well they can/will maintain law and order in 21st century, and you are like a sheep before them believe it or not. Trust but verify or is it guilty till proven innocence.

    https://www.eyescanner.se/

Eyescanner is an AI-based software that detects the influence of drugs through image analysis of the eye area. This is done by filming a sequence on a person’s eye. Eyescanner is both faster, easier and less intrusive than other traditional methods such as saliva or urine tests.

he development of Eyescanner is based on ongoing research studies. These are done in collaboration with a number of major players such as Sahlgrenska University Hospital, the Swedish research institute RISE and Qamcom Research & Technology. Actors such as Chalmers, Autoliv and the Swedish Transport Administration also participate in a reference group. The eye's reaction and movement patterns are complex and a number of different research tracks will form the basis for the software.

Your right MR P. All this BS and lies about voting rights and now the political hypocritical IRS demand an ID to pay taxes.

Would just love to see radical DEMOCRATs declare paying taxes as being racist.

I have my mullet wig and hillbilly teeth standing by.

Do you have a photo without a mullet?

Every article I have read about this says signing up for facial recognition for simple filing and paying taxes will not be necessary.

Smile! The IRS Wants You To Send Selfies to a Facial Recognition Company
"No Identity Left Behind." Americans who want to access tax return transcripts, check on child tax credits, or do other...

This is a security measure for signing up to their site for stuff I don't need so for now it has no effect on me. If it becomes mandatory for simple tax filing in the future, I will change back to paper forms and snail mail before I give my I.D. to a third party that might get hacked. Bob

A lot of us who are self employed use the system to make sure that we are getting correct credit for quarterly payments we make. We have to check because the IRS makes so many mistakes.

Already is not working. Spoke to a friend the other day who tried the new system. They compare your DL picture to your Selfie. Except she grew her hair longer than what was on her DL and the system would not verify her identity because it said picture don't match.

Sounds like the RR quote “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”

Yeah I understand that for a lot of folks, signing up will be necessary. I was pointing out, that for now, the topic title was misleading.

And gee whiz, don't you think it is about time that you let your wonderful wife retire?😄 Bob

Just like the new IRS rule on 1099's that aggregate over 600 dollar is now taxable. So any amount paid that in the system reaches that threshold, then you can be audit for it.You better prove it was just a gift or lunch money from the wife's account!😁

A.I, is going to be on the hunt for every penny soon enough. Both these mandates from The IRS Taxes and I.D is the foundation of The Tax Draconian system, you can he-haw all you want, but you will comply.

Don't confuse the rules about reporting of transactions from what is taxable income. The $600 may have always been taxable income unless it was exempted by the law.

    Here is the legal description:

    26 U.S. Code § 61 - Gross income defined

    (a)General definition

Except as otherwise provided in this subtitle, gross income means all income from whatever source derived.

If you were not issued a 1099 by a business exchange (600+) then I doubt not many would file it with The IRS in the past but the way I see it now if you generate income in small amounts electronically by different sources, and it adds up to over 600 dollars then The IRS will know it. But then I may be mistaken.

One day in a cashless society then all point of sale taxes will be taken out from the buyer but all profits amounts to the seller will be transferred to The IRS to copy it to the entity that receives it and will be recorded for future taxation.

'Once a month, a brigade of artists marches through the heavily surveilled streets of London with colourful geometric shapes painted on their faces.

They're called the Dazzle Club and they're part of an open-source project that tests methods of thwarting facial recognition technology which is being deployed on the streets of England's largest city by the Metropolitan police.

"You paint your face in a specific way ... that will then scramble your face against automatic facial recognition systems so that your face is no longer recognized," Dazzle Club co-founder Emily Roderick told As It Happens guest host Helen Mann.

"We describe it as reverse contouring, or kind of you're really looking to de-emphasize parts of your face that are normally quite prominent."'
