I can't imagine why anyone would have one of those listening to every word they spoke in the "privacy" of their home.

No Alexa here but I once had a parrot that you had to be careful what you said around him! Had a knack for picking up cuss words mostly probably on account they were merely 4 letter words.😲

No Alexa for my home. I was at a buddy's place and he was so proud of his. I told him it listened to every conversation in his home. He said that was not true....he also said it only answered to he and his wife's voice. So I asked if I could try and he agreed...so I said "Alexa, pizz off " The reply was "That was uncalled for" 😜

Yep...Have a friend that has Alexa...I asked him why do you want it listening to you 24/7...He said they tell it to turn off...And I asked how do you tell Alexa to turn on..."We just tell it to turn on"...Humm...I said if you turned it off...why is it now taking commands??? SHEESH!!!
