4-8 inches of snow
Is what was forecast for SE Missouri. They were mistaken. We still haven't entered winter yet. We are still in mud season.

We received about 2" early this a.m. Started out as rain and was still above freezing until just about an hour ago. Now it is going be an ice glaze on most surfaces for the next day or so. Good new is it suppose to be in the 50's on Tuesday so all will be gone for sure soon enough...

After the storm a couple weeks ago (one with the big I-95 mess in VA), I think they are over-blowing this one. I suspect it will be a non-event here, with only some pockets in the mountains getting anything really significant.
The more the news people say a storm is the “big one,” the more I doubt it. We’ll see…

It finally changed over to snow and is coming down in buckets. The flakes are as big as half dollars. It's hard to get a good pic of their size. Max is wanting out there. He wouldn't know what to do with the flakes if he caught one.

Yeah, 4-8" 20 miles south of the MO/IA state line. Hard to tell since it's stacked 4' deep in places. 6" of snow on top of 2" of mud makes getting around tough

Weird storm. Greenville SC is supposed to get twice the snow that we get here in the NC mountains. Usually we get all the snow and Greenville gets 40 degree rain.
Plus Greenville will get ice. Gonna be massive power outages from Greenville, to Columbia SC, and to Charlotte. I hope you didn't want to take I85 tomorrow from Atlanta to Charlotte. You wouldn't make it.
