Cops found a fleeing perp today
Just saw this on TV. Police in Utah were chasing a guy. They found his car abandoned, then started a search. Found him three hours later where he was trying to hide. IN A RIVER. NAKED. Needless to say, he was unconscious and close to death. How he survived that long in freezing water is a complete mystery.
If he lives, I predict his IQ will not be less due to this incident. Because it couldn't get any lower.

A couple years ago one of the local Mensa candidates was evading the police in La Grande and jumped into the icy river thinking he'd get across (25 or 30 feet?) and the cops wouldn't follow. The two fellas that were chasing him said he made it about half way and then just stopped and went under. They never did find his body.

We just had a couple of entrepreneurs that were interrupted while sawing catalytic converters off vehicles- and decided to make a run for it. Bad move.
You know that fence you jumped over? Yeah- it was there because of the 30 ft deep ravine. They had to get the EMS Technical Rescue team to fish him out. First stop hospital, second stop jail.

one ran from a traffic stop here this past weekend, jumped into the bayou to hide. they found him the next day DRT.
