I saw a Mustang Boss 302 sell for $73K. I bought one off the showroom floor in 1969 for $3300.00.

Sold a red shaker hood 1970 Boss 302 in 1989 for 15k. The Classic car market is HOT. Unbelievable prices. My reasoning is folks are buying up everything because there won't be anymore with the electric cars coming

1967 Sunbeam Tiger was $3,000 in 1980. Today? More like $80,000.

Update--saw a '69 Boss 302 go for $190K yesterday afternoon. The local PD used to follow me around hoping I'd mess up so they could stop me. Sometimes it looked like I had an armed escort!

2019 ZR1 sold for 220 k and don't forget a 10% buyers premium. That car was 140k new and a yr and when the new C8's came out they were worth about 100k or so.

Mecum people said it broke all sales records ever for one of their auctions. Barrett Jackson Scottsdale in a few days.

Select Fire- That was an ADDICTING event and I can see how that is a high stakes game worth playing.

    We had a blast.

Been playing with cars since 1982. It is an addiction but more of a hobby. Now the downside for me. It takes something rare to get me excited. Been doing it too long. That Porsche Prototype would qualify

I watch Mecum's tractor auctions and wonder at how much money some folks will spend to have something that's of little use AND a constant money drain in order to keep in nice condition. I guess money means different things to different people.
