WHY do people wait until after they have won an auction to think about what they are doing???
I swear, I have no clue how many times I have gotten emails asking for info on an item a person has won. The attempted negotiating on shipping costs....and the requests to send parts all over the place is ridiculous.
Its like ordering food....they cook the food.... and then they tell you they'd like it all frozen and put in zip loc bags with specific instructions for each bag.

Be glad people buy sight unseen on auctions anywhere, it helps your hobby.

Never sold till you see the payment in hand

If some people (anti shooting sports) are doing this on purpose that would explain a lot.

People are the worst. If you could sell to dogs things would be better.

I've got two idiots that have won items that will most likely be starting again tomorrow. One says he hasn't paid because he hasn't found an FFL...the other hasn't paid because he says he cannot find mags for the gun. Another guy was trying for the "most emails ever sent for a single transaction" award when I finally just told him what his terms were, and the correspondence was over. He tried telling me to keep parts, what he should be credited for the parts, when I declined, he wanted the items sent to different places and the shipping he was willing to pay was half what I told him I'd do it for. He was WAY over the line in his understanding of options he had with the transaction. I understand having questions about how things work but winning something and then trying to sort out if you want it is different. I have no patience for those guys.

I don't understand the "ordering food..." analogy.

A lot of new buyers really believe what the media is telling them about " Not needing an FFL for a gun show or online purchase"

The guy with all the input about what parts he wanted, how much credit he was to get for leaving the parts to me to deal with and what things he wanted shipped all over the place actually is a seller too. His exact words were "I know, I'm one of THOSE buyers".....who does this mess?
