Is this just gorgeous or what??? Lord I need this.

Break out some moldy money, it has just 65 bids on it so far.

The Korth would hold it's value.

$11,775.00 is the highest bid so far. I guess I'll have to pass cuz my SS check don't get here until the 19th dang it.

That is a sweet looking gun. The Korth revolvers I have saw were so butt ugly I wouldn't use 'em for scrap metal. It took me a whole day to open this thread because of that. I was pleasantly surprised.

When its fired 16,000 + rounds with few or no failures ( I cant remember one) then I'll say its better than my Colt

I don't get it. It looks just like my 1911A1 but more like a pregnant guppy. What's the attraction?
But then again, I collect rare watches and beauty is in the eye of the beerholder. I'm wearing one that's worth more than the last house my parents bought. So I guess it's niche valuation?

There are niches and then there are upper stratosphere niches;
Spider-Man comic book page sells for record $3.36M at auction
A single page of artwork from a Spider-Man comic book sold at auction for a record $3.36 million. Some of the stuff people are paying huge bucks for make that Korth look like a real bargain! Sure would be nice if I could predict what cheap thing today that someone would pay outrageous bucks for in the future. So far my pet rock and mood rings aren't worth spit!π Bob

In order for it to retain it's innate value: You would have to pay an insurance premium, keep it in a safe, handlr it , only with gloves and NEVER fire the weapon !!!
I could not abide ANY of those prerequisites !

My son ran into an NFL player that was driving a Rolls Royce SUV.He probably paid $300-400,000 for it.In 5 years or less it will probably be a money pit worth less the 10 grand.Korth pistols are in the same category unless you stash it away and never use it.

To my way thinking, a firearm that you can't shoot is worthless. That's just me of course.
BTW - If that RR SUV could not do everything my CJ-7 can do, it would be worthless too !

If I could afford this pistol I would buy it, and I would fully enjoy it by going out and shooting it.

I prefer collectibles that are "used". I'd go nuts if I had to keep something in perfectly preserved "mint" condition. And the potential buyers are cut from different cloth.
Buyers of a "used" item care about complete originality and hopefully it's not dinged up too much, some "patina" is admired.
Buyers of "mint" items agonize over the tiniest handling marks, and bring 20x loupes to ensure there are no microscopic scratches. No thanks!

Hold on a minute, I like Mick Jagger and the Stones. Just "Gimme Shelter" along side Lisa Fisher.
I am as much of a conservative that ever walked the face of this earth, gun toten, neck is shaded red, Republican until death, born in the south and going to die there. And most important saved by the unmerited grace of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Had to throw that in there been a tough few weeks
But I do have some firearms the will remain un fired until my demise.

So they're ......... UNfirearms? Seems fair enough.
People spend silly money on uncirculated coins too. It's all in the eye of the beerholder.

I wasn't going over $11.5K on this one. It would look nice alongside the two I have though.
