Gunbroker Customer Exchange From Seven Years Ago
There is a page on Facebook entitled "GunBroker Forums On Facebook." The page was started a while back when the forums were down for a long time. Someone appointed me an admin on the page.
Anyhow, sometimes people get things confused. To them, a GunBroker page is a GunBroker page, and all are owned and run by the same people. Here is a message exchange between a me and another Facebook user:
Him: Yeah, just wanna cancel my account, didn't know you had to pay for it. What happened to the post?
Me: Pay for what?
Him: The account, the bill
Me: I have no idea what you mean.
Him: Monthly bill
Me: FOR WHAT???? I bill no one for anything!
Him: Are you the ceo for gun broker?
Me: Not even close. I am a GunBroker customer. If you have an issue with GunBroker, there is a support link on every page.
Him: Dude, I'm talking about the monthly payment to gun broker
Me: There is no monthly payment unless you sell something every month. And again, if you have an issue, you must take it up with someone that can help you. I can't. No one on the Facebook page can. No one on the forums can. Auction support can.
Him: I never sold something on there
Me: One of us is very confused. Maybe both.
Him: Look. I owe them one dollar, you said you can only have a bill if you sell something on there an I haven't so there for, I shouldn't have this bill
Me: Everyone is charged a dollar, one time, to establish that GunBroker is dealing with a real adult human. It is not a monthly charge. Is this what you are cranked up about? A DOLLAR???
Him: Dude look, u don't have a bank account right now
Me: ?????? Actually, I have several bank accounts. But, I did figure something out. It's you that is confused.
Him: I ment I don't, my phone is messing up. What is your problem
Me: I have no problem. You contacted me, remember?
Him: Well you don't need to act so hostile, I mean I has a typo big whoop
Him: Had#
Me: I am not hostile. In fact, I am thoroughly enjoying this exchange! Did you ever contact support about your dollar?
Him: Stop alright. Why are you acting like this
Me: Stop what? You contacted me. I directed you to the place where you can get help. You keep contacting me. I am just having a bit of fun, and as previously stated, thoroughly enjoying our exchange.

Me: I sure hope so.

LOL! I remember this and I shouldn't really be laughing at him because it is kind of scary he was on Gunbroker. Someone that clueless and sensitive should never leave their moms basement, let alone be around firearms. Bob
