Bigfoot again. How they get out! This post might entertain, or it might save your life!!!!
As some of you may remember, I have theorized that there is not a population of Sasquatches living in the wild which is large enough to maintain healthy offspring. A bigfoot is created when two people with large amounts of prehistoric hominid dna get together. Science has discovered in the past few decades that Homo habilis, Homo erectus, and various other undiscovered extinct hominids apparently interbred with humans and their DNA lives on in a few people.
Now, how do they get out and get filmed?
I just thought of a reason someone could be so careless as to first raise such a child, then let it get out.
Perhaps despite the best efforts of doctors and nurses, or maybe midwives, rumors get out about a family having had an "unusual baby."
Perhaps the family of the bigfoot then set out to inflict the ignominy on someone else. Someone whose features will be recognized by their community.
So they kidnap someone and have them have a kid with their unusual family member, then raise it and teach it to survive in the woods, then let it get out.
When the family of the kidnap victim hears, they rush out to Bluff Creek and capture the offspring.
Since it is the hybrid of a sasquatch and a human, suppose it can talk? Then they'd probably try to make their family member comfortable.
Or, possibly, they'd destroy all evidence of its existence.
So, if you run across any evidence of a bigfoot, tell the police, the media, and the scientific community as fast as you can. Don't hesitate, and don't even think about the profit you may be passing up by not waiting to sell the story to the highest bidder. It may save your life. And don't go to the local bar, get loaded, and boast about how you're going to sell evidence of bigfoot and make a million bucks.
And, if you don't like theorizing about unlikely but not impossible phenomena, why don't you read another thread?

To prove you're just an average mind rather than a great mind who discusses bigfoot, you could tell us why it's impossible.

I didn't say it was impossible. I do find it implausible. Since I find it hard to believe in Bigfoot to start with it would be strange to discuss genetic mutations/dominance and how that relates to a mythical creature. There are hundreds of millions of cell phone cameras in North America and hundreds of thousands of game cameras, so why no CLEAR pictures? Besides, my feelings are hurt because you didn't include my Neanderthal genes in your fanciful theory. Bob

I did see a show on tv. Nova, perhaps. I don't remember for sure.
They were discussing this tar-like substance which the Neanderthals used to glue their spearheads on to their spears.
There was a scientist attempting to recreate how he theorizes they created the stuff. Some sort of campfire-based distillation process involving birch bark.
His assistant was identical to museum statues of Neanderthals but small in stature. He never spoke.
I think they may have been teasing that they do know of extraordinarily high Neanderthal-DNA individuals.

Because as soon as they realized there was one out there, they found it and killed or hid it.
Six years after the famous Patterson-Gimlin film, there was Roe v. Wade. There is also ultrasound. The families who have occasionally produced unusual offspring are probably advised "there will be complications, we recommend you terminate" if ultrasound shows anything unusual or prehistoric.
Besides that, secrets are being kept. If word gets out in the creature's community that someone has taken a video or found a body and is trying to figure out the best way to sell his story, he probably turns up missing.
