Wow that was fast!
The remote control buttons for my TV were not working very well so I ordered a new remote yesterday at about noon from Dish. UPS delivered it today at about 2:00 PM and I didn't even order next day delivery.

It would take me longer than that just to program it to my tv.

Yeah I was dreading that too but it was surprisingly easy to program. I clicked on the menu button and it walked me right through with just a few more clicks of the buttons.

Our remote gave out just before the holidays. Went to local cable office for a new one. Usually they gave us a hard time about bring in the old remote to trade in.
This time they just handed me a new remote and said throw the old one away I did not need to bring it in to trade.
Competition is a good thing as the cable company is now competing with Netflix and others.
