Mom has the covid
Fully vaccinated and booster shot. She has been very sick for three days now. Doc said if she isn't feeling better by tomorrow, to come back and they will have her go to the hospital for treatment. Damn Chinese disease. She has no underlying health issues, but is 79 years old. Worried sick, because there is nothing I can do. Prayers would really be appreciated. Oak

No doctor here but see if you can get her in for a antibody infusion. Might be the difference between life and death.
I do know for a fact that it works for many.
Worry and lack of being able to help those affected is horrible.

My mother-in-law seems to have whipped it through the grace of God and that treatment. She is 99.

prayers from here . I hope the doctors choose the right path for her , so many options but getting a infusion seems to make a huge difference in many cases
my younger sister and my ex SIL (my brother died several years ago ) both got it end of Nov. working together helping disabled and shut in people. my EX SIL pulled thru doing OK, however my sister not so much, they have had knocked out in a coma most of the time and filled full of tubes since beginning of December . I fear the machines are whats keeping her going but still hoping for the best for her .
its a hit and miss seems like on how bad each person reacts .
a few months back my wife ,oldest son and I went thru it , covid . my wife had a very tough time in and out of the hospital three times . once by ambulance she, still has no sense of taste or smell but slowly returning . my son and I got sicker then all get out I never felt so bad but made it thru

Daughter is a lphysical therapist and she and her husband both caught it after vacs, took 3 or 4 days to start feeling better. Hope they have same results.

Hope they're able to get the infusion, I got the infusion last July and it made a world of difference for me
