My doctor would tar and feather me if he found out that I ate that much sugar.

I always figured MILK chocolate for dairy, Bacon for protein and Beer for grains covered at least 3 food groups on that old nutritional pyramid. Bob

Be careful Dave, you'll wind up with diabetes like I did from eating so many sweets.

One of the same basic reasons ammo is in short supply.

I can usually stay away from sweets as long as there are none around.....I am afraid I would just keep eating them until they were gone if there was a freezer full.

White chocolate to me, tastes like LARD mixed with tons of powdered sugar.

I always thought Hershey's was good until many years ago a company called "Dove" came out selling those Dove Ice Cream bars. Holy Moley! What a difference! πŸ˜›

What a haul for cheap money. if you eat them in moderation they will last a very long time.

Don't know the shelf life of a Hershey bar but I do know they turn white eventually.

Eating things from packages in a dark car at night will educate you not to eat things from packages in a dark car at night. 😁

Bought some energy bars.. a couple of large boxes one night at the auction. Gave both to my son in college to share with his friends. He tells me one of the guys was eating one and a bug was inside. They had eaten a ton of these things.

I agree there not as good as they use to be

there is a some what local candy maker, family owned as far as I know they now have several places and stores that carry there goods local Kroger for one . Ester Price ( the old gal who started the company and candy making ) is the brand name its about as good as it gets for candy any where around us any way

40 some odd years ago I had never heard of them but a old GF her dad loved the stuff and wanted a box for Christmas then some local flower shop in the town close by them was the only place to get it other than the candy shop its self the GF is long gone but still buy the ester price candy and it always brings up memories of her and her family

That is not true. Diabetes susceptible is genetic.

I have to believe she was getting you a couple years supply, it wouldn't be the other option.....nahhhhh

Since we could not find our favorite flavors in stores, we used to order our chocolate from Lindor. (Lindt)

It was pretty good chocolate, but then they quit making our favorites, so we switched to having a bowl of assorted candy on the table like Hershey, Rolo, Butterfinger, Whoppers, Milk Duds, Resses, Almond Joy, Snickers, etc.

Like Oakie said...I'm going out on my terms.

My BP has always been extremely low. Usually 90 over 58. I take meds to bring it up. It is excellent at this point. 110 over 75. What effects me the most are the blood thinners. I'm constantly cold, even in the summer.

+10, two blood thinners for me, and the wife is going through the hot flashes, so she keeps the car/house cold anyway, I wear jeans in 90 degree weather......

I now freeze to death even in moderately cold weather due to blood thinners.
