I am looking for the owner of a Browning Olympian in .338 SN: 8P44535 I have your bolt and presume you have mine, as it had been switched out at an auction back in 2015. The bolt you have goes to a Browning Olympian in 30-06. If anyone knows of anybody that owns a olympin in 338, please have them check their bolt to see if it matches the SN to their gun. my email is mos492002@yahoo.com

The auctioneer doesn't have a record of the gun sale? You have the"when"; He should have the "who".

I never heard of that model and today I read this and saw one for sale on one of the other gun selling sites. And it was a .338.

Not good. Bolt face diameter of the '06 is .473", the 338 is .540".....Ooooops, no workie.
