Happy Spaghetti Day!
One of the few "special" days I can get my teeth into. Sauteed shrimp in an Alfredo sauce over a mound of spaghetti. Normally I would use fettuccine but I was out and used angel hair spaghetti instead. Ate too dang much but hey it is spaghetti day and it only comes around once a year.😊 Bob

Wife makes a good marinara and awhile back poached a small pieced of salmon and put in on the plate with the pasta. Was really a good combination!

Waddled out of there, back in my teens, 30-40 yrs ago.

Well I wasn't aware it was spaghetti day so I celebrated with the regular Taco Tuesday! Although I do make my own homemade sauce about once a month for use with spaghetti and lasagna and/or veal parmesan...

I haven't clue but there are so many that sometimes 4 or 5 different things share the same day. A bit of trivia for you, National Spaghetti Day is also National Trivia Day. So if you don't mind sharing a day whoever assigns these things could probably squeeze you in somewhere. 😁 Bob

I would take a wild guess that all of these National special days were originated by Americans with a strong IRISH background. These folks will TOAST a glass up into the air for just about anything!! 😁
