Citori pad/plate???
I have two Browning Citori XS guns that I like to shoot skeet and sporting clays with. Problem with them is that the LOP is a bit long in the winter when wearing a coat and shooting from a low gun position. Both guns have a recoil pad on them, with LOP's in the 14.5" range. Since one is a 20 gauge, and the other is a 28 gauge, they don't need a recoil pad IMO. I found some factory new plastic butt plates, but was wondering if the hole spacing between the pads and plates are drilled the same, center to center, and from the top of plate to top hole? TIA.

Correct answer might just depend upon the eras involved. No guarantees either way - but are the current recoil pads factory installed, or aftermarket?
14.5" is a lot of LOP - so if these 2 rigs fit you well when dressed in summer attire, you're probably a large-framed gent. The easiest way is to measure the holes' c-t-c distance on all the hardware, which might entail removing the current pads.

Factory pads, both on Citori XS models, guessing 2005-10 or so. MGW has plastic plates that would shorten the LOP for winter shooting, and then convert back to pads for the warmer, less clothing weather.
