It was our own GOVERNMENT that made China the manufacturing and technical superpower it is today.
Government has all but eradicated our manufacturing prowess by forcing odious regulations, imposing taxes at all levels, recognizing and empowering unions, and forcing egregious mandates upon manufacturing in America.
America is a now service economy. China is not.
America is a welfare state. China is not.
Chinas strength is in manufacturing. China does not have odious regs, mandates, taxes, and unions.
Trump was the only POTUS that attempted to restore our nations manufacturing base in many years.

Very well said chiefr. America has become a nation of insurance companies and fast food chains. Our manufacturing base has been emasculated by the EPA and the Earth First groups.
Throw into the pot a toxic mix of Woke mentality and affirmative action hirings at the SCOTUS, pandering to the Marxist ideals of the democratic party by the major media and "news outlets", and we see the United States republic and its' Constitution circling the drain.

Just look at Biden's state of the union address. He and Bernie Sanders are on the same page.I would not doubt that he will grab emergency powers as soon as NATO decides to pledge a no fly zone in Ukraine. It will mean that he will be an elected dictator just like Putin.
It will be both there will be no first. It will happen together to the path to destruction and anarchy.
