New GB auction site format - Hate it (but I am old and hate change)
Just got my first look at the new GB auction search format and sure wish there was a button I could push or activate that would allow me to continue to use the old design……I know…I know…This younger generation believes that if everything is not changing it is going backwards and me getting older makes this process seem even more difficult……
Just my 2 cents worth on this topic…..If you have not taken the time to look at the new format - get ready because it is a lot different - not as easy to scan over lots of auctions quickly like you could before……Rant Over - time for a nap and my meds……

Yea, pics are much bigger and half of them don't load on my computer unless I click on them. Look and see. Not a complaint just saying.

The search function works for me just like it has the last couple of years. I did notice a difference in how the results of a search are displayed. In an ammo search, I see the cost per round displayed as well as the buy it now price and the sellers name. That is an improvement even for this retired guy. Bob

just noticed that on one of Kasey's auctions, usually at the bottom is a row of other auctions she has running, today just two big picture with the blue sqare GB logo in them no gun pics.........

Will add the buy it now are posted on the search instead of going to their page. Shows seller, if it is is a reserve or no reserve.

Half the photos won’t load on my phone or on any computer I get on. I feel this will screw up a lot of auctions.. I have an item that’s been up for auction for a day and usually it would be at least at a couple hundred but it’s only at 9.99…

It’s a gallery view instead of a list view like it used to be. It’s really hard to skim through quickly on an iPad. I don’t mind the added information but give us a choice of viewing in list or gallery mode because gallery mode sucks. Anyone know how to provide feedback directly to gunbroker?

I thought I had accidentally changed a setting that screwed up the format on my device and came here looking for information to fix it. I’m disappointed to learn the messed up format may be an intentional “upgrade”. I agree with others that it makes it much more difficult to quickly find items that interest me.
It’s not a matter of being old or hating change. It’s a matter of efficiency. Making it harder for buyers to find what they want to buy is never a good idea. I hope what we’re seeing now is just a bug in the system and not the final product.

Thanks for the feedback. Glad some others prefer the old format. My current wife (5th) said I bitch and complain to much and I should have just kept my thoughts to myself so I apologize if I offend anyone. She said until I apologize I will not be allowed to sleep in the house (I have to sleep in the shop that has no heat because the wood pellet heater motor broke) so now I can sleep in the house again (one night out there was enough with no heat)…..
Back to reading but not posting because she tracks and monitors everything I post on line….
