We should treat these people better.
Our vets give so much, they deserve better treatment when they get home.

I am nobody special, but I will share my two cents.
There are some real problems. I’m in a Reddit veterans group that can be heartbreaking.
But most of us OEF/OIF veterans have been given so many opportunities, which is largely due to the Vietnam Veterans and the citizens who decided the next generation would be better than that. We truly are blessed in that sense.
If you want to make a positive impact for veterans, help avoid the next WW3- be it, Ukraine, Taiwan, North Korea, etc.
If nothing else, peace for the next generation should be something worth working for.
