Local gas in so. west Va. jumped to 3.29. Wally World was at 3.19 but I filled up for 3.09 at a station that is at war with Wally.

I don't go to town often, I did today.
Most people measure their mileage in MPG...miles per gallon.
I measure mine in MPT....months per tankfull.
I last filled up, all 14 gallons, in November, don't need gas yet, may need some next month.
But I saw gas at one place for $2.99 in town today,
Suburb of Denver.

We in Alaska feel your pain and we'd dearly love to make it better. We have billions of barrels of oil under our feet.
Biden had to nominate someone for Dept. of the Interior, and (of course) he nominated an indigenous woman. Our senior senator Murkowski fell all over herself endorsing this nominee, Deb Halaand, and voted to confirm her.
So what happened as soon as she was confirmed? She shut down the approved permits for exploration and development that Trump had pushed through in the 1002 and NPR-A areas.
Looking into my crystal ball, I see Biden shutting down pipelines for no apparent reason. I'm hoping and praying he doesn't decide to turn off the Trans Alaska Pipeline that moves our oil to market. Why? Two reasons. #1 It will remove 90% of our state's revenue, making us all welfare recipients, and #2 the hot oil will cool and become a cold tarry mass in the line, and the pipeline will NEVER come back online again after that.
Don't think he's not too stupid to do this.

There are no easy answers,buy electric vehicles and watch your utilities rates skyrocket! Here in Texas The natural gas rates along with electricity are going up for most states including Texas because the Republican government here would not weatherize their so called independent power grid after last year's deep freeze event.

Most of the people are clueless as to why gas and energy prices are going thru the roof because they get their news from social media and the major networks other than Fox. These people are sycophants whose gray matter goes retro when they enter a voting booth.
90% of what passes as news today consists of lies and pro DEMOCRAT propaganda. Ask a Biden voter why we have inflation and high gas prices and they will blame Covid, Trump, or GOP.
Biden could care less about Americas status in the world or wishes to ruin it altogether: Doubters should look carefully at the Afghan withdrawal.

3.06 today
I remember as a young fellow making 1.35 a hour I would use 10 maybe 15 dollars for my weeks gas budget but I drove the wheels off my car untold miles on weekends and boy howdy 10.00 in gas was a great weekend ahead 5.00 at a time was common to have money to buy a couple a burgers and cokes lol a few times I had to tell the gal next to me sorry cruising is done for the weekend not often but acouple times I was embarrassed but lived thru it
I had several buddies who never had my problem they all carred a debit card well really a long section of garden hose and the local bowling alleys and skate rink provided many gallons of donated fuel
Gas prices did not matter to them

AH HA! You contributed to the invention of the "Locking Gas Cap!" 😁
I used them things on a couple of vehicles and remember having a h.e.l.l. of a time during the winter months when the darn key holes froze up! You sure didn't want to use the old standby method of thawing a lock with a flame on top of a GAS tank!!

3.75 in the southern part of the least state of IL. Jb extends state gas tax to fund unemployment in the state,,,,,so he won't pull the "rug" out of people who don't work because they are afraid of getting covid.😡

I just received a call from a colleague who lives in Mundesley England.
Their gas/petrol prices have risen to 1.52 GBP or $2.06 per liter and that calculates to $7.79 per gallon and I thought we were getting pinched here in SE Idaho at $3.93 for premium non ethanol and $3.99 for diesel.
No telling what will rise to once Brent and WTI top $100/bbl and babbling joe just shut down some more federal lease sales and while I’m typing this “Peppermint Patty” was just on saying they are working with other countries to lower the price.
OPEC and others are laughing at us all the way to the bank.

No shortage but never let a good opportunity to gouge the customer go to waste.
Local propane service is having a hard time supplying his customers, shortage is not the issue.
Drivers are.
No one to drive 2 hours one way for a pay check.
Note. He is a small business supplying a very small customer base but distributes two tankers of propane daily, 6 days a week. Now go figure the consumption rate world wide.😲

0il is $105/barrel, divided by 42 = $2.50 gallon before refining. Sioux Nations in the Dakotas want to shut down a pipeline running under a lake at the border because it ''MIGHT'' spring a leak. Native tribes in Alaska want to shut down the Alaska Pipe Line because it ''MIGHT'' spring a leak too. Doesn't matter HALF of state revenue comes from that PIPE. Reckon all those tribal homes and Ford F250s get heated and run on WAMPUM🤑

March 1st 2022, $3.79.9 for regular in Upstate Monroe, NY. Extra 10 cents since i last posted here. I thought with all the bad news in the world I would keep tank in my truck full. About a third of a tank for $43. Seems like when DT was Pres. I could almost fill up whole tank for that. Lets go Brandon.----------------------Ray
