UPS brought some fine ammo today

It has been a long time since I have shot CB Long Caps in a .22. They are sure fun. At 50yd the hold pattern is two lines down on the vortex scope. Regular 22 ammo is dead on crosshair at that range. 29gr bullets do not penetrate a washing machine exterior just a deep dent .

  i shoot those a lot for pest control. i have a little mossberg international that will feed them from the mag. they are very quite and much better than any air rifle i have ever seen. i havent seen any for sale for awhile but i still have plenty.

  Shorts wont feed out of my bolt. CCI makes them along with Winchester. You can also find aquila super colibri and aquila colibri but they do not go as fast . CCI make what they call quiet .22 Some on GB

  as far as i can tell shorts and longs are ballistically the same, as select fire says its just a matter of feeding issues. my mossberg will feed the shorts if you are careful in working the bolt. CCI are the ones i use. they will shoot thru a coke can full of water at about 25yds.

  UPS brought some ammo to me yesterday. 975 rounds of .357 & 38spl. Bought a Henry lever rifle off the auction side last week and the guy threw in the ammo with the deal. Ammo alone was worth almost what I paid for the rifle.
