Is anyone reloading 209 primers
I see videos online of guys reloading 209 primers. Very slow and tedious.
Just wondering if anyone has experience with it and how it works.

The description slow and tedious is pretty accurate. I suppose it is neat to know how to do it but I'll never give it a try. I think it would be better to hoard a thousand primers than to rely on making my own. At my age I don't think I will live long enough to make that many myself. Bob

I've got several 100 of the 'caps' to do this (CCI), I recall that back in the 1970's this was tried. just to note; the 'caps' look just like large rifle primer only no 'anvil'.

Well I am getting ready for summer trap and sporting clays leagues and there have not been retail trap loads available for a couple years and my hoard is getting low.
I have plenty of reloading components except primers and primers have not been available by retail for a couple years.
Can find some regular 209 primers on gun broker and online but shipping and fees is crazy expensive. But I need the metric/european 209 primers which I can't find anywhere.
