You must have a FFL to ship firearms FedEx:

I don't know when that changed, but now it's the rule.

Then take the box to FedEx and ship it. If your issue is with the Gun Broker shipping program, you'll have to contact GB customer service and have them sort it out. We don't handle support issues here in the forum- specifically billing or tech support.

SUMMARY: USPS is your option. FedEx and UPS don't want to ship firearms.

I hate every one of the private carriers because of their hidden fees and surcharges they charge AFTER labels are made. It is impossible to give someone what an item will cost to ship with their crazy way of doing things. You can hate on the post office all you guys want, but I ship a LOT of boxes per week with no issues (maybe one per year) and NEVER have any crazy fees charged later to my account.

Maybe its just me,but everytime I get a shipment from FedEx,there is some sort of problem.I had a package due yesterday with FedEx and once again tracking indicated it was close, and now tracking indicates it going the opposite direction.

FedEx, like all other carriers, is still trying to recover from all the Covid BS and all the bad weather back east as of late.

I used to think that FedEx was on-par with UPS in regards to standards of performance. Now I know better. They're not.

Covid has become the catchall, boilerplate excuse for lousy customer service in every industry from healthcare to fast food for the last 2 years!

So, could you ship a firearm with only a C&R ?

    A C&R is a FFL. Specifically, an 03FFL.

Good luck. Sorry we weren’t much help.

Just had fedex deliver some gunpowder to me. It was kind of a mess but they did eventually get it to me. I would avoid fedex if I can.

The original post is regarding the Gunbroker shipping system no longer allowing FedEx for long guns as an option. That has been an issue within Gunbroker for several months and Gunbroker support has never addressed my complaint regarding that issue. FedEx is still delivering firearms as is UPS so that is not the problem. I'm also shipping firearms via UPS with no problems.
