It has around 40 watchers so far.....I'm betting a bunch are waiting until the last day to put in any bid and the few bids that have been placed are just token entries for the people that never learned how to "watch" an item and just bid to get the notices when its ending.

I'd rather have an original. I never pulled the trigger on either.
The NSSA shoot mostly originals in competition on the east side of the Mississippi. It's basically a black powder cartridge gun.

Looking at the prices on the originals there are a lot out there that run between $2000 to $3000, of course there are some duds out there that didn't do well, but their auctions aren't presented well at all. The authenticity and condition of this one should bring this one up over the average price (I would hope.) I don't know what it will do, but looking at the various websites I think this one should do as expected.

I threw out a $1000 bid just because it was a stupid low price, think $4xx something. I sat high bidder for a couple days and then got outbid. I didn't really care about winning it but now I kind of want it haha. I'm high again.

I do that all of the time. I "sort of" want something....and then someone else acts like they want it and I'll almost panic if I don't get it. This one is in great mechanical working order. The action is nice....it opens easily and closes tight....no big dings or chips on it. Wherever it was in the past all of the previous owners took great care of it. Its pretty much a museum piece.
