On Friday morning, Pete Kendzior was on his way to work when he captured a pair of moose crossing the street on Broadway in front of Jackson Mercantile.

Every moose we see in our yard has horrendous wounds on their flanks from bears. Gigantic patches of hide over a foot wide torn loose, and the hair grown back all grey. It must be brown bears to have feet that big.
