Do you ever stop watching a listing?
If I start watching a listing over on the Auction side, I watch it to the end, even if it's bid higher than what I'm willing to bid (which is usually the case).
I have two listings with a lot of watchers right now, but am actually seeing the numbers of watchers DROP as we go into the auctions' close this evening (not by much, but I've lost a few watchers).
I'm guessing perhaps the price gets higher than what watchers want to pay and they decide to stop watching so they aren't drawn into bidding and paying more than they want, but would be curious if anyone stops watching a listing, as to your reasons for doing that?
A little shameless self-promotion on the two listings where I'm seeing a few watchers drop off: Ruger Police Service-Six in .38 Special: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/917423146 and an Ruger SP101 in 9mm: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/917425193
Thanks for any input.

I guess hyper-linking is not automatic? I'll see if this allows one-click to see the listings I've lost a few watchers on:

I've never stopped watching something before the item ended.... hope that helps...

I do quite often. I come across items that catch my interest and I will either place a bid, (the max I am willing to pay), or save it till it nears the end. When it exceeds the max I am willing to pay, I usually delete it from my saved list. On rare occasion I may keep it in the list just for a reference of the selling price.
Did that just last nite with a rifle I was interested in. This morning I used the buy now to insure I got it.

I just leave listings on watch and get a notification before it ends. When its over I check the notification and see what it sold for. Some of the prices guns are selling for in many cases double than a couple of years ago.

Looks like they both did well. The sp101 surprised me, good for you.
