Seller ignores message and sends to wrong ffl. What should I do?
first I want to say that I acknowledge that I committed the first mistake and should have updated my ffl saved to my profile before making the purchase….
here is what happened. I had an incident the last time I went to get a gun from my ffl… (basically an employee there was very rude insulting and unprofessional… rude enough that I told them they have a right to their opinion and I have a right to take my business elsewhere) just because I’m a woman doesn’t mean I’m an idiot. I should have updated my profile to my new ffl before making any purchases but I forgot. Well, I won a gun and a day or 2 later I jumped on and submitted my payment. In my head I was thinking that it would ask me to submit ffl info because I hadn’t had the old one saved to my profile for very long and had been entering it every time basically since I first started using gb.
By the time I realized my mistake the transaction was already wrapped up. I IMMEDIATELY selected the “contact seller” option as soon as the payment was made and told them that I did not wish to use the ffl on file and that I was updated my default saved to my profile and also sent them my new ffls info right then and there.
the seller didn’t respond and shipped the gun and it wasn’t until i got the notification it was delivered did I realize it was shipped to the old ffl, whom after our confrontation, I have no desire to speak to, see, or patronize with my business.
what should I do here?

Nothing to do except go pick your gun up.

They were just going by the information available at the time. Be thankful for the prompt service.

I would just forget it. Your pride is worth more than whatever you paid for the gun. Don

Sounds like a beef with an employee who works for the FFL. Call up and speak to the FFL directly. Go get your gun.

Show them that you are a woman. (even though all that you mention was YOUR fault)
try to blame it on someone else.
Do not go get YOUR gun
AND
also do not go get vaccinated.

Go and get your gun.

Just PM me the name of the “rude” FFL. I’ll spare you the pride-swallowing trauma of dealing with them by having them ship it to me.
OR (since nobody has mentioned it yet)….just go get your gun.

If you REALLY want to waste your money you could go to another FFL and have it transfered to them, then go pick it up, you will most likely have to pay both FFLs a transfer fee if the ones holding it now WILL transfer it to another FFL without a big fight. IF you DISLIKE them that much, CHANGE IT NOW, so it won't happen again.........

Oh and if none of the above suggestions will work for you, just GO GET THE GUN!

By the time all this is said and done, the fees and re-shipping on this little Taurus G2S is going to turn it into a Taurus G2$.
In the end, you’ve already given the “rude” FFL your money. No way around it.
Every retailer has a bad day from time to time (customers aren’t always that easy to please). Just give the dealer another shot. If you still don’t like them, move on.

Seriously, the beef with your dealer seems one-sided (you). The fact that he's doing the transfer indicates he probably doesn't even remember you.
Relations between dealers and customers have been strained during COVID and the first months of Biden. No inventory, long lines, and prices up 50% or more Unless you did something outrageous inside the shop like trying to burn it down, the chances are that the dealer won't even remember you. It would be like me trying to keep track of every person I've tossed out of the forum in the last two years! Impossible.
Just take a deep breath, walk into the gun store and say, "Hello, I'm Ms. Cottamb. I'm here to pick up a gun."
I'm betting you'll pay your money, fill out the 4473 and walk out the door with your gun without attracting any attention. Good luck.

It has been said already,,,

Where is it? I'll go pick it up if you don't want it.

You made a mistake not changing the information ahead of the purchase. Go pick the gun up and never go back. I also have ffl's I will not do business with. Rude costumer service should not be rewarded with repeat business. Lesson learned and move on.

Go over there and kick the door in and tell him "it's my GUN and I want it NOW"!!
Note: You might want to be prepared to dive for cover.
Or you could just go over there and get your gun.

and wear a hoodie and a ski mask so they will not recognize you.

Don't forget to ask if they have any ammo? You might consider buying something else in the store while there. That will show the FFL you will use them again.
