S+W Performance Center question.
I remember reading some time ago, {10 years ?} that the guns going through the Performance Center were really nice. The work done was excellent.
I have posted earlier about looking for a full sized 9 MM. I have pretty much decided on a Sig P320 but have been looking to see if I could find another option.
So I've been looking around on the auction side and found a Performance Center M+P M2.0 9 MM.
My question, is the Performance Center still doing very desirable work?
If any of you have shot the Sig and the M+P could you critique them??

I have fired a Sig 320 M17 and full size S&W M&P. (Not Performance Center) Both were excellent firearms, they were accurate and reliable. I liked the Sig trigger better, but the S&W fit my hands better.
Tough call....if you can handle both, see which one feels best in your hand. Triggers and grips can be modified so go with what you think will serve you best....
I own two recent Performance Center firearms. Both have a better trigger pull than stock firearms...

Funny, I have a Sig 320 X5 here on my desk that I am listing tonight. I have shot and sold a fair amount of 320's and S&W M&P's and they are ok. I still prefer a Glock but that is just a personal choice. One of my favorite 9mm poly pistols is the Walther PPQ, which has the best trigger of any of these guns. I have owned one for five or six years and it probably has a couple of thousand rounds through it without any malfunction. I also have a Walther Q5 Match here that I need to list but that is a steel frame gun. The H&K VP9 is another gun you might want to consider.

All of my performance center guns are revolvers they all are great guns with better triggers and fit and finish then the regular order revolvers. I don't know if that helps you much

No sig, my carry this month is the S&W PC
sights, trigger work, ported
accurate. Only change I did was Wolff springs in the magazines.

Ricci, I have two Glocks. Love the 19 MOS I got last year. I like both of my Glocks but I wanted something different. I checked out your suggestions. The Walther PPQ is now in the running but the H&K is a little more than I wanted to spend.

I bought a S&W 9mm Shield. I thought the trigger right out of the box was far better than the Glock G19 or the Sig 365, it also fit my hand better. I found a performance center Shield parts kit and installed it. The trigger pull is only slightly better than stock. Ported barrel and slide is just barely better with controlling muzzle jump. Again my stock Shield trigger was very good, I dont know if the performance center parts are so much better that its worth the money. The high vis sights are great to me, maybe because I have older eyes.
