I would hazard a guess that the seller increased the opening bid so that the non-readers don't put a bid in. The same ones who don't read about shipping costs, payment options and any of the other little details before they bid. Bob

I'm sure there is a good, and very interesting explanation. As I recall, a few days ago the starting bid was $39000.00 with no bids. The seller seems reputable.
