New garage doors.
I ordered two Clopay garage doors for my daughters house back in late September (they told me 15-20 weeks) sure enough they just called and I scheduled the install for next Friday.

If you are going to install a door opener, I would highly recommend a Chamberlain. The Clopay doors are made close to Ridge Runner and I. Good doors.

Yep I'm happy with the Chamberlains whisper drives I have purchased in the past.

I have a Clopay door on my detached garage. In 25 years I've never had any problems. The Marantek opener, however, is a piece of junk.

I used to install doors in a younger life. ClopayDoors are the way to go. As far a openers, always go for the belt drive, unless it's a commercial application.
If you paint your door it can add up to 15 lbs to the door. make sure to adjust for the weight. I made lots of service calls to fix that problem.

I went with the Intellicore (I think that is what Clopay calls it) steel facing on inside and out with injected polyurethane in the middle, I believe 2” thick R18. Upgraded the hinges and rollers and did ultra quiet belt drive openers that they can operate from the openers or from their smart phones.

Same issue here ordered 2-14 footers in September, might be in by last of this month.

Yeah, their house is a walkout ranch and the garage is part of the lower level so I wanted high R rating for temp and sound and the quietest openers. We thought about window panels but it’s a rear entry garage so no curb appeal and I am installing four of those 2’x4’ LED flat panel lights.
