I live in Montana, I've never known it not to be 6 more weeks. It's only February for crying out loud.

Well heck Joe, in Montana don’t you only get about six weeks a year that aren’t winter? 🙃

The only reason they keep this stupidity up is they must be making a lot of money off the whole sham. We all know when winter is up.

I have never understood the whole scenario. Seeing its shadow means more winter? If the sun is out thereby casting a shadow, wouldn't that mean ... sun?

Nine months of winter and three months of mighty late fall.

My wife could recite the whole "Ground Hog Day" movie.

She played it so many times to her French class she almost knows it by heart. It was one of the first CD's translated into French and the school superintendent gave her the CD.

I actually celebrate Groundhog Day each year. Those rascals are better at predicting weather than the dramatic clubs we have now days trying to scare us with natural phenomena!

So Happy Groundhog day and .......CHEERS!😋

I do not think it a scientific approach to forecasting, Randy.

Just another big money Hallmark Holiday.

I never trust Phil cuz he never gets it right. Everyone knows "summer" lasts from July 28th until August 4th.

A whole week is more than enough.

Oh I realize that, it's just so backwards for even what it suggests it is.

The snow will be gone here when it all melts. Usually first of May.

You will note that it is never mentioned what would happen if he does NOT see his shadow. (Actually 6 weeks and 4 days, no matter what). Just look at the calendar!

Yep, don't matter if he sees his shadow or not, still six weeks until spring.

"Six weeks" you say. Is that "Six Weeks Until" or "Six Weeks Total"?
