They should all do like Dodge, sell em without the dang chips. No one needs auto shut off or cylinder reduction. Go back to the older way and make vehicles!

None will admit it but it's probably has a lot to do with the lack of sales, without consumers buying a product there becomes a serious backlog on the manufacturing end. A chip shortage is an easy thing to blame it on instead of your companies reputation and management going down the drain.

There are 10s of thousands of 2021 production sitting idle waiting for chips . What happens to the market when they finally are able to be shipped and sold ? Deep discounts ? Even my dealership buddies don't have a clue

Will probably add them to the scrap yard with all the diesel beetles. They can't afford to let us buy new vehicles for the cheap.....people might get used to the lower prices! They like em all above 50k!🤬😡

I don't think that's it. Most lots are almost empty in my area. Most local GM dealer told me getting inventory is tough and everything they get gets sold right away.
I bought a new Silverado 2500 in January 2021 for $53,000. HAS 18000 miles on it right now, manager at dealer said he could get me 55k for it right now if I wanted. I am tempted but to get a new one right now is over $70k for the same thing so it wouldn't to me any good to sell it.

I was looking through some early 60s Outdoor Life magazines and nearly everything advertised was made here,even clothes and boots.
