I think odds wise, there's a better chance that you're misreading the serial number on the gun than the box and gun being off by a single digit

I am sure that one of our mods will be along shortly to explain that this forum has nothing to do with the auction side and that we have no way of resolving this problem. Also complaining about GB or any of its sellers is totally verboten.
On the other hand if you are not comfortable with a listing the simplest answer is - don't bid. Bob

Well he didn't complain, and he didn't ask for help, so I'm not sure what he wants. But yes, the best bet is don't bid if you don't like something about an auction.

Take a permanent black marker to the 6 and make it an 8, waa laa, matches, interesting though. Must have left factory that way.
