COONAN 357 Mag

WHAT DO I HAVE? Just won very nice COONAN 1911 357. It was advertised as version "A". When I received it someone had written version "B" on the box. The SN is 1273. Doing research the version "A" had less than2000 made and other articles less that 1200 were issued. Is mine an "A" or "B"? What else can I check?

  The B grip safety was a more pronounced beaver tail that extended out from the frame while on the A it was almost flush at the top.
