Decent recipe for mezcal cocktail?
Browsing the aisles of the liquor section (looking for our favorite tequila and not finding it) ended up deciding to try something new. We left with a 1L bottle of Yuu Baal mezcal. OMG! This stuff is AWFUL! At about $60, it wasn't cheap, but we've gotta believe there's an alternative to just throwing it out. We tried it in one of our favorite cocktails (my proprietary tequila colada) and couldn't choke it down. HELP, ANYONE??

I picked up a bottle in Mexico 30 years ago. It's still in the back of the cabinet, way back. Let us know if you find something that's drinkable.

How did that old "Tom T Hall" song go? "I LIKE BEER", whiskey too tough, vine costs too much and vodka puts my mouth in gear, that's why I like beer😆

...😁...😁...That crap tastes like a burnt tire smells, its awful...was drinking Tequila one of the times I was in Mexico, and decided to order a shot of Mezcal...geezus, it tastes really, really bad...😖

I’d try a Mexican Mule. I’ve worked though some tequila gifts that way. Barrett’s Ginger beer and Tequila. So it should work as well with Mezcal. Don’t forget to squeeze a slice of lime!

I guess you could use it as a marinade prep for some really nasty fish species before smoking. 😁
Then again, it might work in your zippo lighter when the lighter fluid shortage begins shortly. 😲

Sorry the only way I have drunk it is straight up followed by a beer chaser.
I would probably try the Mescal mule too.

Hold your nose and just slam it. Be sure to eat the worm...........best part.
Alcohol is a terrible thing to waste.
