The last couple days I have been able to log on and read the forums without being signed in.

Ypu are right. Just tried it from a device that doesn’t have the password. It allows me to read, but not participate without logging in.

@montanajoe and I have been asking GBHQ to allow "read only" to those who aren't logged on to the forum for sometime. This would allow, among others, old forum members who didn't make the move to this new forum to read the boards. HQ greenlighted our request last week, on a trial basis.
This is another example of Joe's and my efforts to move this forum forward; including adding more useful member features.

David, rather than using the "gear" on the right, the little box serves as a shortcut to the most useful moderating actions. It also allows you to merge two or more threads together so that there aren't five "Breaking news! The Supreme Court just ruled..." threads on the board.

Thanks Mods. I enjoyed just reading the old forum while waiting in the Dr's office or the parking lot. No way am I going to keep a bunch of passwords in my head. They say the memory is the first thing to go, and I've forgotten what the second thing is. 😊
