Winchester.270 dud
I had a dud .270 round and sent the box of 15 unfired and 4 fired and the 1 dud back to Winchester. They sent a check for 30 bucks. Where can I buy 20 rounds for $30 including tax?????

I had a dud .270 Remington Core lokt 40 years ago while taking a head shot on a cow elk 30 yards away. Loudest CLICK! you ever did hear. I eased the bolt up and back and the dud dribbled out. Put a fresh one in from the magazine and BOOM! Elk down. Grabbed the dud from between my legs ( I was seated) and pitched it about 20 yards in case it decided to go off.
It never occurred to me to try and get a new box of shells because of one dud!

just think if they did that for all dud ammo Remington thunderbolts ammo would keep a staff busy sending out refund checks 😁
bright side at least they sent you 30 dollars if if a bit on the cheap side of customer service I would wager thats more then a lot of places would have given you and you
big bonus thankful were not protecting yourself or family when you hear juist snap but the nice warm fuzzy feeling has left the building
