Having been a part of a UN "peace keeping" operation while in service I can state that the most useless entity on the planet is the United Nations. It has never prevented a conflict nor has it ever successfully ended one. It does nothing that can't be done by individual countries or in collaboration with others. The makeup of the security council ensures that pretty much nothing can ever be accomplished.

It’s a joke! Peace comes from being a strong nation. If it was up to the U. N. we would all have 48 hours to register or turn in your guns.

The UN IMO has outlived its time and only still exists because the pay scale for those working there is just too good to give up. If you look at the track record for accomplishments.......wait a minute, I see nothing there! 😮
