    Things we delete;

    Auction support, technical support, payment issues or billing questions are not allowed in the forums. If you have a support, billing or payment question click Help Center from the top of any auction site page.

    Posting Guidelines — GunBroker.com Member Forums

    Although owned by the same company, the forums and auction side are separate.

    You did right by opening an auction support issue. Now be patient and they will reply. Do NOT keep opening another support issue as it will bump you to the back of the line. Support as many other business is short staffed.

    Sounds like a victim of the auto-bid feature to me. It's a self inflicted wound.

    Could it be you might need to go back and study how Gunbroker bidding works?

    I have been selling and buying on Gunbroker for 15 years, but I did not know about "autobid". Also, why is there no record of my 901.50 bid?

    OK, I read about autobid. It does not exceed the maximum bid that you enter. That eliminates the "self inflicted wound" theory. Also, how did the other bidder know to bid right up to my supposed 1325 bid? I hope Gunbroker checks to see if that particular bidder has ever bid on that particular seller's items in the past.

    A simple explanation would be that when you entered your 901.50 bid you accidentally added a digit. Something like 9901.50 or 9001.50. If that occurred the auto-bid feature would automatically Increase your bid by the minimum amount over any other bid made by someone else. The 1300 bid the other person made was their max and the auto-bid, not knowing you made a mistake, added the minimum increase of 25. If this is what happened, in effect you did not make an individual bid of 901.50. Best of luck getting it straightened out. Bob

    You should have an email stating what your max bid was. Unless you have blocked the GunBroker emails, you will have a record of your bidding activity. Should not be a guessing game.
