Decoding General Motors RPO Codes
In case you might be interested here is a decoder list of those Regular Product Option (RPO) codes that's on the "Service Parts Identification Sticker" that's in your GM vehicle. My sticker is in the dash on my 2003 Chevy Silverado.

I have a older rpo book some where 😁 they do come in handy many times in the past for me from color to options
my old 97 GMC the original owner kept it in the glove box ( good fellow )
I have wo 69 Camaros one for 36 years when I got it I cleaned it out I tossed out all that old paper after all it just had the orginal buyes info 😫 and trash like the protector plate ,window sicker and build sheet pulled from under the seat . not one of my brighter decisions and I kick myself every time I think of it

I know what you mean about doing dumb things. When I was younger I inherited a bunch of antique fishing lures from an uncle and a big aluminum fold out tackle box and I decided I would fill up each of the slots in that big box with the plugs and threw away the boxes. Several years later I stopped in at a fishing lure show in Pigeon forge, TN. I had no idea that people collected that stuff. I about passed out when I saw what empty boxes were selling for and the ones with the original plugs in perfect shape in those boxes were out of the world. My wife thought she was going to have to hold cold rags on my head as we were driving home.

On the other hand, I save all the boxes everything bought comes in. My garage looks more like a warehouse. If ever there is a cardboard shortage, I'll be Daffy Duck diving into that pot of gold! 😁

When my mom passed
We found along with some old photos and letters from family she had kept
She had every bill every check stub what looked like every receipt she had gotten from the day her and dad married in 1955
I kept some from each year but no way or reason tokeep the boxes full
There were some great keepers one was a police report from a wreck they had in 1958 that about killed me and coppys of old car registration that are special
Could go on but I am pulling a long way from the original post which is good info
