make sure to apply lots of JB weld to all those connections, pesky moving parts and and pins . I hate to see it fall apart again

That happened to me yesterday afternoon. I was having problems fitting a 'customized' (meaning it wasn't fitting correctly so I modified it) buffer tube. During one disassembly for more fitting, I failed to capture the buffer retainer and spring resulting in a 3 ricochet trip around my work space. As it turned out (and for the first time in days) I'd put the lid back on the trash can and that's where the errant parts landed. That saved me $3.

No, but I will before I ship it. I wanted to do it today, but both of my big hammers are at the house. I noticed some of the engraving seems a bit shallow and I want to touch that up too. I'll have her looking good before I ship her.

That is a good deal of money. I'm just selling it and it is not an AR. It is a switch barrel bolt gun built for high power rifle competition. I guess you would really get a kick out of the $800.00 rear sight.
